Fences: These enclose the backyard for both privacy and the safety of the family. We construct fences from pressure treated lumber, cedar, vinyl and metal. Our process is guaranteed to last. We employ superior practices that ensure a quality job. We dig all post holes 48” deep and 10” wide, not 36” deep and 8” wide. We use 4x6 posts, not 4x4. We guarantee 3 bags of cement per hole. We also require a Real Property Report to ensure we are not contravening any boundaries or Calgary legal easements.
Decks: These are the most cost effective way to add additional living space for the family. We construct decks with a pressure treated base and will cover them with pressure treated, cedar or composite deck boards. We insist on a building permit for the protection of the customer. In order to obtain a building permit we create drawings that ensure the plan is both legal and structurally sound. In order to complete the permit, a Calgary city inspector must approve the structure. The permit process protects the customer.
The construction process is as follows:
- Plan the Project: Meet with an estimator free of charge to plan the project and receive a preliminary estimate.
- Approve drawings of project and detailed scope of work, and collect a deposit.
- We obtain the Building Permit from the City of Calgary
- We construct the project.
- A city inspector approves the project
- The customer approves the project.
- Any deficiencies are corrected
- Final payment is due
